Colt Aux tank

Anyone have info on installing a fuel aux tank in a Colt?

You talking about the optional 18 gallon right wing tank or the 8 gallon tank that is under the rear seat in the Tri-Pacer? If the 8 gallon Tri-Pacer tank I think it would be a chore since the access would be very limited with no back seat and in the US the fieldapproval would not be easy either I do not believe.

Do you have 1 or 2 wing tanks. If you have 2, you already have over 4 1/2 hours. I once climbed a colt to 9500 and managed to get almost 5 hours before landing. Still had the legal reserve when I landed (barely). Of course it took me an hour to get to 9500...

Have both wing tanks. Have only seen one Colt advertised that had not taken the factory option for both tanks.

I don't think I have seen one without both wing tanks.
