Just removed my GARMIN GTX 320A and ACK A-30 Altitude encoder from my Pacer for ADS-B out upgrade. My GARMIN GTX 320A comes with a King KT 76A tray and connectors and an adapter to use the KT 76A tray (please look at the attached pictures). When I installed the 320A it was a direct replacement for my old KT 76A by using the adapter. If anyone has an old King KT 76A, you can just pull it out and slide the GARMIN GTX 320A in.
I'm asking $350 plus shipping for the GTX 320A XPDR, adapter to use in KT 76A tray, a KT 76A tray with connector and the ACK A-30 altitude encoder.
Sadly the market is flooded with mode C transponders, they have almost no value except for those that use one of uAvionics solutions or the GDL82. I'm in the same boat, I have a couple KT76(A) & GTX320's hanging around for that same reason...
Many of my friends are spending thousands of dollars to install ADS-B out, even though they never fly in airspace where a transponder is required. I keep telling them they are waisting their money. I would not have spent the money if I wouldn’t fly the Pacer IFR.
I was in Utah in October. Beautiful country. I flew a couple of the canyons: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwQ...gg?app=desktop. I’ll be back there in 2020 probably passing by SLC on my way from Arizona to Utah to Idaho.
Let me know when you're headed that direction, it's entirely possible I'll be headed north around the same time. I intend to get back up in Idaho quite a bit more this summer. Kind of fell away from it for a few years and we got up there two times this year I think.
