Google "Pegazair" wing similar to Helio Courior. I never flew it personally but a friend of mine said it was the best flying or the worst flying plane he ever flew but was'nt sure which! My friend John Freeburg built it. Been just setting for years.

Pretty impressive STOL airplane. One at Oshkosh STOL demo for many yers painted like an American flag.

I'd be interested to know for curiosity sake what was involved with mounting the Pegazair wings onto that Clipper? I wonder if the spar distance is the same as the Clipper/Pacer or if the mounting brackets need to be modified or moved. Also wonder if the Clipper elevator was sufficient or if Super Cub ones would have been a better setup....

Here's an eleven minute video with about 30 seconds of flying this thing:

I had forgotten all about the Pegazair. Interesting aircraft and Canadian too. Be interesting to get some performance specs on that Clipper....Don D is there a reason why it’s been parked for awhile?

Guy who owns it just likes the idea of owning an airplane not flying one. It's sat out for many years and needs lots of work.
