What’d you do about that?

Re: Re-wiring covered wings?
Moved the transponder antenna to the metal plate at the tail. Quit using the stand alone intercoms after that and use the one built into the Trig radios and no more issues on the ones I have installed since.

Has anybody tried a Ferrit Core/Choke to resolve this issue?

Re: Re-wiring covered wings?
I ended up rewiring my intercom to add back seat plugs and made sure that was properly shielded/bonded while I was at it.
The lights still made noise so I stuck the incandescent bulbs back in. A EE friend of mine check them on his bench and said that a small capacitor in parallel with the bulb socket would do the trick. I think it’s worth trying but haven’t ordered the parts yet.

AERO LEDs sent me some and they worked for the wig wag lights. Since then I have only used shielded wire and have not had any issues.

Re: Re-wiring covered wings?
How and where do you mount those in the wing?

Re: Re-wiring covered wings?
I clipped them over the wire at the light if memory serves me correctly
