Thanks for all the input in regards to my pa22 fuselage and the rust
I have decided to have the fuselage repaired. I have a few questions for all of you
first is installing a center seatbelt mounting tab, I do have rear heat, or do I convert to individual buckets? And if converting anybody have a 337 for this?
Second I am putting in the full skylight and will install retractors probably from Univair wondering if some have beefed up the the fuselage in the mounting area? I have thought about running a cable back and tying into the rear stream line tube in the baggage compartment?
Would also like to get the shoulder harness mounted on the backside of the spar carry through just to get the belts off your neck as much as possible.
Any ideas or help, thank you Greg

We used the original Piper front seat and attached the center belts to the welded in tab. The two outer belts were attached to the original Piper brackets.

The bracket is bent a 90 degrees, then formed to fit the radius of the tube it’s welded to.
