    Default Booster Tips

Hi. Many moons ago I added Plane Booster Wingtips to my '59 Tripacer 160, with what I considered impressive results. I suddenly could pass a friend's 172 that I could barely keep up with previously, but my stall control and speed reduction was the change I loved most. The tips so impressed me that I bought an extra couple pair, in case I ever should acquire another short-wing, or some friend should need them. A fellow in Texas named Harvy Ferguson developed these tips and had quite a following. I bought mine in 1967 and recall recommending them to my friend Belford Maule in 1969, after he had moved operations from Michigan to Georgia. He made his own version later on. Has anyone out there had experience specifically with the PB tips? Dave Palmer

Sounds like you have been around a while and known some legends. Quite a bit of discussion over the years.
