Dear short wingers,
Forever I will be thankful for your help in identifying the colors of my Tri Pacer.
Please have a look.

Re: Please help me identify the colors of my Tri Pacer
Your safest bet would be to look in the log book and see who's system was used for the color coat; Aerothane, Stewarts, etc. Then you can get a swatch of colors from that company and match them up.
That being said someone is likely to be able to say what colors they are (not too many variations in the aviation world) from looking at the pictures but a computer screen can skew the hues.
Either way thats a clean, sharp looking bird!

I agree with Jason, you should have a 337 form that tells what it was covered with and hopefully color codes. If not maybe get color chips from the vendor of the system used. If automotive paint was on you could get a good paint shop to scan and match.

A few thoughts on your very pretty plane:
From what I can see in the photos, the scheme and colors don't look like original style.
Nothing wrong with that, it looks really nice, but if you are looking for Piper colors you may be disappointed.
Some discussion here:

Here is a link to the Piper Service Letter 303a with aircraft finishes for Pacer and Tri-Pacer:

Can you post a couple full views showing side and maybe looking down please? It really is cool looking!
Good luck!
