Our local EAA Chapter has a PA16 for sale. Not damaged but will need restoration. It appears to be very complete, only missing the propeller. Some extra PA22 parts go with it. Airframe logbooks back to the Piper test flight, and show 1601 total time. O-290-D engine with 2450 hrs total and 797 since major. This plane has been in storage since about 1975. Wings still have the fabric on them. Two wing tanks and the original nose tank. Paperwork for O-320 conversion. Sale of the airplane will help us pay for improvements to our Chapter hangar. $5000.

Interesting but to far away.

Well, Ohio is a little off the planned route, but I will be trucking a couple of other projects south in September. If you got a trailer I could maybe deliver it somewhere in the West or Southwest.
