Default CFI Check Ride in PA-22

I'm at Alaska Float and Skis this week to finish a CFI rating I started in August of 1986 by buying The Flight Instructor's Handbook in Torrington, WY. If everything goes as planned I'll take the rating ride in N7709D a '57 Tri-Pacer. I will be wearing my ShortWingPiper.Org cap. I got some good news yesterday, Don Lee already "busted" a CFI candidate yesterday, so maybe he won't feel the need to bust two in a week.

    I like your logic.

agree with Stephan, the feds like to see busts to believe you are doing your job as an examiner

I finally rested enough to share. I passed the Airplane Single Engine Certified Flight Instructor rating ride Saturday August 11, 2019. Promise made, promise kept, I wore my ShortWingPipers.org cap and took it in N7709D. To top it off I did 3 T/O and 2 Landings in N3321D a Pacer on Floats, landed at PALH Lake Hood, and walked to the terminal to come home.
