My premium went up a little this year because I raised my hull to $49k based in part on Steve's comment above. I put some new avionics in which is how I justified the increase. Still just over $1,000/year premium. 16,000 hours and 121 current but only 270 tailwheel.

I'm insuring for liability only, I figure I keep the parts if I survive the accident and can either part it out or reuse the pieces. This also satisfies my hanger landlord too. I'm insured with Assured Partners and there was no change in my premium for my second year with them at $421 for the year. I'm still a student pilot, just passed 127 hours - pre-solo (long story- been waiting on my medical for almost 2 years now).
