    Whether or not you can see the cords, that cut goes deep enough to cut through them. You are correct to replace your tire. Your IA would most likely force the issue at annual.

    The tire is cheap enough to replace for tummy comfort. If the cut is just in the rubber and not exposing the cords it is superficial. I have seen cuts exposing the cords on Bushwheels and the manufacturer advised me to put black shoe goo in the cut to keep the uv off the cords.
