Lol.......nothing really Steve. I’ve got about 1500 hours on my 150 hp so I’m just starting to see what’s out there to upgrade to 160hp.
I’ve been doing some long range planning and I’ve talked with a few engine shops but none of them have what I need.
I even had one tell me they pretty much only deal with dynafocal stuff these days. My block is narrow deck so I would need a new case. Thought maybe I could located a b2b or b2a and have it overhauled.

Good, I was afraid you had a serious issue. I have a 160 hp narrow deck core off of a Tri-Pacer, about 1800 total time but needs to be overhauled, case has never been split. I'd sell it for $5K.

For some reason I thought the 160hp had to be wide deck to support the higher compression cylinders.

Nope. Needs banana plates on cylinder bases, therefore longer studs in case. By the time you buy and have installed the required studs, you could have bought and overhauled a case with the right studs in it.
