Default Maybe 2020 will be the year I get traction

So I bought this project last year thinking I’d have more time to work on it. Well, that didn’t really happen - all I’ve done is get the fuselage fabric off and start grinding on the metal welds trying to get it ready for the Service Bulletin. I thought I’d have a hit more guidance from a ln IA friend, but he had a rough year, too.

So, I’m gonna try and see if I can’t get more done this year. The bird is a PA-20.

Hope you find the time to work on your project this year! If you have questions just ask because you will find many knowledgeable people here and they are all willing to help. If you do not have the drawings from the Short Wing Piper Club https://www.shortwingpiperclub.org/s...r-drawings-cd/ I would suggest you get a copy. You have a great support group here and they want to see you succeed.

    I know the feeling....

Mine has been sitting in a heated hangar all winter with my new engine on it and I just can't get out there to finish it up. I'm also about to get kicked out of the hangar within the week....what a bummer.

I own paperwork on 10 airplanes, one is airworthy at the moment. I get done with one project and say I am gonna quit at 5 and work on my own but I am not good and following through on that.

We need to be like Mike Patey and only sleep 2 hours a night.

I wish, after about 12 hours I am toast and my brain is mush. "Back to work."

Well, actually did something today and I realize it will take a lot of little somethings to finish! Took the frozen tailwheel off. It’s been a real pain to move the fuselage around because of the tailwheel being stuck. I’ll probably spend some time on the Internet looking for this, but maybe someone will already know what model of tailwheel this is so I can look for a manual? I’m seeing a definite lack of markings to make it easy.
