    Default Landing gear bolt wear

I'm just finishing the annual on my PA22/20. I replaced the AN6 upper pivot bolts on the gear legs to (successfully) rectify a little looseness, but I'm left with a little bit of looseness of the AN5 bolts attaching the hydrasorbs to the gear legs.
What can I do to fix that? Any suggestions?

I keep finding the outboard flap hinges on Carbon Cubs worn and have rectified it with close tolerance bolts until Cub Crafters comes up with a fix. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catal...ickkey=3016638

Thanks, Steve. I couldn't get my brain past AN175s or reaming and bushing. I'll try the AN175 route and let you know how it works.

Wow. Lesson number 319 from Steve P. For me, anyway...
    Thanks.

I installed AN175 bolts at each end of the hydra sorbs, and the sideways movement of each wheel halved to less than .125". I'll settle for that.

Anyone know where I can get AN175-30's for a decent price? I only need 2 however the place that will sell just 2 wants $20 each or I can buy a bunch for just $10 more. Wondering if anyone else with a PA-22 has a need like I do for the scissors. The top and bottoms are -30 and the middle one is -20 which has new bushings and reamed already amazing difference zero slop. I thought about buying enough to sell the bolt kits 2 x 30's and 1 x 20. Not sure it's worth the trouble. Rather just find a couple bolts and be done with it. Thoughts?

On that topic: I'd like to replace my AN6 upper pivots and the hydrasorp AN5 ones on my 1959 PA22/20 (I have the UNIVAIR taildragger STC) and am not sure about the right length (particularly on the AN6/upper pivot ones)

I was just gonna order (taken from the standard PA22 Univair Parts catalogue):

4x AN6-27 (not sure about them being drilled) + AN365-624
    4x AN5-15 + AN310-5 and AN960-516

Can someone confirm these please (so I don't have to go out and measure) - thx

Do you have the drawing CD? Should be in there. No difference there between the Tri-Pacer and conversion.
