Ok as far as the hinge bay covers go. Do those just glue onto the nose /butt rib inside the bay?

Yes, cut the fabric and fold it over and cement it to the inside lip of the rib and up on the flat sides. Clyde Smith recommends then putting a patch cut to the same size and shape of the rib inside the pocket to help reinforce the seam. It is tedious but the finished covering job looks really good.

I glue them to the leading edge and don't tuck inside the ribs.

This is a Super Cub Aileron originally covered by Cub Crafters who are known for very nice fabric work.

That does look really clean, I am just starting the process and doing the flaps now I’m definitely going that route.
I’m using Stewart systems, they recommend superflight fabric for adhesion wonder what your experience has been. It’s covered in 101.

The Stewart glue didn't penetrate through the newer version of Poly Fiber/Ceconite fabric back several years ago so they started recommending using the Superflite fabric because it seemed to penetrate better. The next rendition of Poly Fiber/Ceconite wasn't quite as bad.

Steve, What's your preference in fabric ceconite or superflight and would you use 101 or 102. Just curious.

If you are using Stewart System I would use Superflite like they recommend. I use med fabric, haven't seen the point in the heavy fabric except when we covered Rare Bear's tail feathers.
