    Default Mountain flying book recommendations

The Colorado Pilots Association cancelled their 2 day mountain flying course coming up in August. One day of classroom, one day of flying some passes. Man I'm bummed, I was really looking forward to that. In my never ending quest to learn all things flying. What books do any of you recommend?

I am reading the book by Amy Hoover and Dick Williams right now. Great information and Dick has been a participant on SuperCub.org for many years with lots of experience flying in the Idaho back country. F. E. Potts book is very good as well if you can find it.

I thought Amy and Dick's book was excellent.

I've got a copy of the F.E Potts book. Great material! Not willing to part with it, but willing to let someone borrow it for a time...

Not a book per say, but an excellent presentation I found "Intro to backcountry flying" host by Supercub YouTube. Lori MacNichol of McCall Mountain/Canyon flying does a great job of wetting your whistle for backcountr flying:
