image.jpeg[QUOTE=Steve Pierce;125984]Picture? Sounds like someone has done made a Bubba fix.[/QUOTE

Attached is a cross section sketch of how my Colt yokes are attached to the control shaft tube. Both are the same. Pilot side no problem. Copilot wiggles a bit on shaft. Not a real problem and not showing any signs of worsening. Just annoys me.

I'm now awaiting the inverted flight comments.

Shows upright when you click on the image. That must be some kind of blind type rivet that swells up in the Yoke.

Not to be paranoid here but I'm not sure if I would be comfortable with this being loose. Having that connection break during flight would be...bad. Like, how quick can you switch seats while in the flair during landing.

I had even asked the question about ours because the shaft was drilled to feed the mic switch wires thru. Similar concern of that drilled hole possibly weakening the shaft where it could break. I was assured that it was OK.

I’ve installed the Cherokee yokes... my original yokes are to nice to tear up just to use the tubes...couldn’t find any replacement source for the tubing...like TG&P 4130 then plate on some nickel and chrome... went with titanium tubing that is dimensionally correct..each tube cost $36 from an online metals outfit..I’m probably pushing the owner manufactured rule a bit on that one...

What are the dimensions of the tubes you used including wall thickness?
