    That’s a good learning experience! Having that can riding up there couldn’t have done much for performance either.

    I usually set my can on a ladder in front of the wing and syphon into the aircraft. I get lots of practice. We don’t have fuel here so I use the Thorp as a tanker for the others. Terrible mileage though... Thorp flies about 45 minutes for every 30 gallons pumped into it

    It looks like someone fuel can spout was not properly attached.

    We just use the factory auxiliary tank that's installed under the rear seat but that's just us.
