    Default 35” Bushwheels on Producers/Bushmasters

I’ve seen a few Producer and Bushmaster projects around and it’s gotten me thinking. I’d like to stay certified for a few different reasons, so I’m curious if anyone has ever gotten 35” Bushwheels approved on stretched Pacers. Ive seen them on experimentals before, but not certified.

Is the Pacer not on the AML for the 35" Bushwheel?

I'm satisfied with 29's on my Stretched Later.

The tundra here gets pretty rough. Even if I wouldn’t use them to their full potential it would be cheap insurance.

I would think that would be an easy field approval. I like my 35s but they are 44 lbs more than my 31s. About to go back to 31s in preparation or the ArkansSTOL event in a few weeks. We will see how I really like them.

    Steve,

What did you think going back down to 31s from 35s? I am going back and forth on 29s or 31s for my Pacer and 31s or 35s for my "one day" Producer.

    Cheers, Joseph

I miss the a$$ hole places I could go on the 35s but the plane flies way better without 42 extra lbs hanging down their like a pendulum.

What did 35's do to cruise speed compared to 29's or 31's?

I lose one or two mph cruise going from Goodyear to BW 29's.
