    Default Original headliner?

I am curious what piper used for the original headliner? I pulled the headliner out of my parts plane and it’s some sort of vinyl?? It’s old, but in really good shape considering it’s age and looks way better than my crappy wool one that I have in 3119Z. I’m curious if there is a way to tell if it’s original? I would be surprised if it lasted this long, but I can’t find any log book entry for a new headliner. There is some faded writing I can’t really make out on the back that looked similar to the writing on some of the parts shown in the original piper build video posted on here a while ago. Anyway, I hope to remove as much of the old glue as possible and install it in 9Z sometime in the future.

I doubt you can reuse a headliner. You need loks of extra material to pull and stretch to get it tight and then it gets trimmed off.

Vinyl liners were often used in 70s. Mine is wool.
    Mine is not original

I sewed up a new headliner for my pacer using the piper drawings. This is how much extra material you get, and like Steve said you’ll need it to stretch and glue it in.

Looks good. How difficult was it to install?
