Re: Full Right Rudder if feet leave the pedals
Normally when properly rigged the fin will point to left about 2“ when sighting down the fin to the top of fuselage.
The procedure to move the fin: hold the tailpost and bump the leading edge of the fin with your hand. Fly and repeat if necessary.
Do what Wag-builder suggests and the Rigging CD. An abbreviated rigging procedure is also in the Piper Service Letters.

Re: Full Right Rudder if feet leave the pedals
Do you have a nose wheel fairing? Since the nose wheel is directly connected to the rudder, a nose fairing not rigged correctly could also cause this.

Rod ends on the nose gear allow it to be adjusted as well.

Re: Full Right Rudder if feet leave the pedals
Mine doesn’t go full right, but if I go hands/feet off it starts drifting/rolling right. Nothing has been damaged or repaired. when I first bought the plane it flew hands off. Could I have done something to cause it or just needs adjusted sometimes? Guess I need to order the books..

Re: Full Right Rudder if feet leave the pedals
Thank you all for your input. Rigging has been corrected. N3407Z now flies hands-off and feet-off for the first time since I've owned the plane. What a difference! It is also incredible how strong and smooth the rebuilt engine is now that it is broken in. Finally sold my plane to a great guy SE of Wichita, KS, and I know he will continue to maintain the plane and keep it flying.
Bill, I hope you enjoy this bird as much as I have!

Re: Full Right Rudder if feet leave the pedals
...So what was changed in the re-rigging to correct the rudder issue?

Re: Full Right Rudder if feet leave the pedals
Hi Walt. When we measured everything to ensure that the frame was true and the tail was straight, we then measured each wing at different points along the front and back spars. The right wing's angle of incidence was higher by nearly an inch. It took a few flights to get it just right, but what a difference in flying now. Wish I would have insisted on correcting the (more slight) roll that it had four years ago.
Happy New Year!
