    Default Help forming stiffener

Need a little help forming straight (~60-inch long or longer) beaded angle.
    Ideas? 1/2”x3/4”x.032”
    4E84F666-BD11-42BB-851F-785B33BACA54.jpeg
These are belly, fairing, stiffeners on the funny nose TriPacer.
This is an original Piper part no longer in production.
Would an 1/8”x1/8” U channel VS bead be acceptable?
Or where to find a beading tool for say a dozen pieces.

Wht not use an extruded bulbed angle? Stronger than that folded over piece and readily available.

    This will work! Bulb Angle - AND10135-0601. 0.75 x 0.563 x 0.050 2024-T3511
Just need to find out how much and how soon!
    And Thanks for the info.
I will give them a call and see how to get them from CA to TX

Found airpartsinc has a 6061 for $2.00/ ft. This is just for a sanity check.
If AC E will price near this All will be good!

Is there any place around TX that might have these stringers in stock?
    Dallas/Ft Worth, to Houston.

First quote came back from Aircraft extrusions @$18.91 to $15.75 per ft for 12ft stick. Not in stock 6wk lead time.
This is for above listed extrusion.
    Looking harder.

    @Steve Pierce
As an IA, Would approve, as a minor modification, replacing the
Geronimo’s belly skin rolled angle (3/4”x9/16 ~.032) (assuming it is 2024-T3) stringers with
    6061-T6 3/4x3/4x.050 extruded Bulbed angle
    https://www.airpartsinc.com/172_ALUM...ULB_ANGLE_.htm

The rivet flange is a bit wider 3/4”vs 9/16”
    Or choose 5/8”x5/8”x.050”
I like the 3/4x3/4 but could trim the flange down on a table saw if there was an interference.
Mind you, for most of these parts, they are fairings under the steel tube frame such as under the PA22 firewall to back seat.
