Never seen any counter weights in the aileron system of a short wing Piper.

I added one pound of lead inside the leading edge of the aileron of my Super Pacer. There are no counter weights in the short wing aileron.

So update the trim is now installed and is working great! New pin and cable with the new bushing installed along with new hardware because why not I'm in there already. On to removing the bird cage and the lower cage U channel. I will be replacing the bottom U channel with 1/2"and installing nut plates and the upper will stay 3/8 and no skylight.

I'm getting ready to install the new head liner and was looking over the dome light bracket. It looks like the mounting tabs have been pushed up and need to be bent back down?20210622_125721.jpeg20210622_125724.jpeg
