Are you going with the Maule oleo, or typical Supercub cabane Type suspension?

Too bad we'll never see it in person, seeing how you never go any place lately.

Bob! I was in Idaho and Montana three times last summer....... looking for you. I brought my wife on one trip and my grandson on two trips. I though you had quit flying or was avoiding me. Maybe it was the mask. You need to post your schedule ahead. Then we can meet up. I'll be back to the Rockies this summer, showing off my new landing gear.

The Trimmer STC requires the Maule oleo. The cabane vee is specifically designed for the Pacer because of the wider fuselage. I got my cabane vee from Alaska Airframes. The Oleos I got new. Today I worked on replacing the forward cross member in the fuselage. I'll post more pictures.

Do you foresee any issues between your control stick mod and the Trimmer gear mod?

There are not any problems. I fitted and started welding in the front cross tube direct replacement yesterday. Since I don't need some of the brackets used for the yoke, I removed them. If anything, it is a bit easier.
I'm also way ahead on this project since I already replaced the left front vertical post when I installed my left side door on the Day and Night STC. Trimmer calls for a 3/4" tube, I already have a 1" tube. I avoided removing a wing for this STC.
