    It had an O-290G... but I’m thinking something a little lighter like a conical mount O-235. The one that I was going to purchase got scooped up by someone else. Oh well, I’m sure it’s for the best anyway, as I’ll find another one.

    We have a ground struck 0-235 sitting in the big storage hanger... Came off a Grumman Yankee that hit a tree and did 360's down the runway till it ended up in the bushes... Probably worth a couple grand as a core but would entertain offers...

    New seat frames tack welded… the aluminum base was used only for checking the position and angle of the base and seat back…

    I also tack welded up a new door latch and opening mechanism on the pilots side door:
