Hi Brett,
Are you sure this will work on a '55?
1955 was the last year of the low panel with radio stack on the far left; in 1956 Piper completely redesigned the panel, moved it forward ~1.5", went to centerstack radios, dual fuel indicators, and added the hump on left side to accommodate a near-six-pack for flight instruments.
The 1950~55 have a notch at upper corners to clear the windshield pillars; when the panel moved forward in 1956, the notches were not needed.
I suspect your Cub Doctor panel is for 1956 and newer PA22 models.
My apologies if I'm incorrect with this.
GG
UPDATE: Just looked at Clyde's website (http://www.cubdoctor.com/instrument-panels/index.html) he sells two styles:
* 1950~1954, and PA-20, PA-22 blank panel 1950 – 1954 style
* PA-20/22 blank panel (late style minus “hump”)
But I think I'm correct and that Clyde has a misprint, because every 1955 PA22 I have seen has the low panel with radios at left side.

Glen,
I’m not sure, I was going off the website info you listed. Just to be safe let’s say it’s for a 56 and up.
