stringer mounting standoffs-
on my pa-22 --- looks like some of the those steel standoffs that hold the aluminum stringers are missing----
Anyone know how to determine what length they should be ?
They do not appear to be the same between left and right sides --- (whouldnt ya thought they would have been ?)
could the lengths be in the piper CD ?
Any thought appreciated !

Re: stringer mounting standoffs-
I shortened mine and made them the same. It was done to offset torque during climb out. I noticed no difference.
Piper drawings should provide the information you want.

Re: stringer mounting standoffs-
Can you post a picture of the missing ones. The dimension should be in the drawings. I have several frames sitting around I can measure as well.
