seat upholstery
Looking for PA-22 108 Seat upholstery. The seats on my Colt are pretty much shot and I need to replace the fabric and foam.
Where I can I get some replacement upholstery for it?
Thanks,
Walt

Your guy will have all his own stuff. Now I have these unused hog ring pliers and a big package of hog rings to give away - I bought them thinking I would install the kit - I'm an idiot. It's hard. Takes two knowledgeable people to pull, tug, hold, then staple- uh - hog-ring them into position. Then adjust, remove badly placed hog rings, re-staple, adjust, pull, f*ck!!! Anybody got 20 bucks for shipping can have them.

Re: seat upholstery
Concur on airtex, however I also bought the tools and did the install myself, first time and it came out beautiful. Watch a youtube first there must be one on car interiors. There's a youtube for everything however some are by idiots.

Re: seat upholstery
I did the Airtex interior on our restoration, now closing in on 12 years ago. I discovered last month when I pulled the rear seat and carpet out to haul some bulky items, their foam backing used on the carpet, and rear seat skirt, which also uses the carpet material, that backing is totally deteriorated and falling apart. I had to clean most of it up in the shop vac. I was very disappointed with the quality of that and I'm hoping the actual seat upholstery and foam isn't doing the same. I would consider sourcing the carpet elsewhere if they have not improved their materials.
I should add that other than the backing issue, I have been very happy with their interior overall for appearance and ease of installation to a nice result. I used their headliner, seats, and carpets.

Re: seat upholstery
I'm with Sierrasplitter. I'm rocking the late '70's orange carpet interior and I'd like to replace it. Recommendations?

Re: seat upholstery
I too installed the Airtex. It wasn't difficult. I also find that the carpet foam backing sticks to the floor boards.

If you go the Airtex website you can find example of how their products look.

Or, how their product looks after THEY installed it. Kinda like the pictures at the Jack-in-the-Box drive through. My burger never looks as tasty as the pictures........so I want to know what they look like on a Pacer or Tri-Pacer after The owner has installed it.
