Airplane paint scheme program
Hi All,
I am looking for a program or app that has airplane silhouettes, top and side views that will allow me to experiment with different paint schemes.
Any suggestions?

Re: Airplane paint scheme program
I've got a side view silhouette that I could scan and send to you. Printed a few of them and started sketching. Old school.

Re: Airplane paint scheme program
Piper actually had very good graphic designers making up the paint schemes on these airplanes. Not to say that others can’t make nice designs, but then again, I’ve seen some pretty ugly ones as well!

The drawing CD has line drawings if I remember correctly.

Re: Airplane paint scheme program
I've been trying for a while to figure out how I'm going to paint the 20 I'm doing by just looking at other planes, pictures etc. and finally decided by looking at Horizon Hobbies web site and found my plan, yellow and silver and I'm going to call it Carbon Stub.

You might Google..... piper pacer 3 view ...... pick one, down load it and use it to old school it like J Ryd suggested or save it as a .jpg or .pdf and open/import it in most any program where you can draw on top of it
