Does anyone have the length eye to eye for a stock hydrasorb in the resting position at it would normally sit when parked?
I am away from the plane or I would measure it myself.

I think the same hydrasorb is used on the late model super cub, see pix.
Here is a picture of one of those.
The distance between the bolt holes at each end is 11.5 inches.
I cannot verify right now but could only find one part number from Univair for the Univair Shock Strut Fitting PN 64029-000.
That part in the picture is the Grey fitting. The other end has the long gear strut connection that goes to the wheel.

Thank you very much!
The actual hydrosorb is the same but the fittings attached to the hydrosorb are different between the Super Cub and Pacer/Tri-Pacer. The Super Cub unit is linger.
I get 10" center to center on a Pacer/Tri-Pacer and 11.5" on the Super Cub. For comparison here is a Pawnee, Super Cub and Pacer/Tri-Pacer hydrosorb.

thanks Steve, I suspected that just looking at the super cub struts I had in the hangar.

Thanks guys, got the info I needed! Stay tuned for future exciting new offerings for our pacers after I beat them up and test them out.
Does anyone know what the travel of the Tripacer hydrosorb unit is? Eye to eye compressed - eye to eye extended?
What is the shaft diameter?

Hydrosorb1.jpgHydrosorb2.jpgHi,
53 part off mine. Shaft is .490 or so. I also just noticed a recent hydrosorb find of mine has a larger hole on the top end. Hydrosorb3.jpg 3/8" instead of 5/16".
