Default Slick Mag / spark plug wire removal question

Bad run up on right mag . Cool cylinder so I installed a new plug I had already . Same results . Must be the wire .
how are these wires removed at the cap ? 32CEC2CE-098A-4374-A64E-B499990F1747.jpeg

There is a tool that swedges the ferrule under the lead. Do you know anyone with a lead checker to varify? Also, sometimes p-leads get reversed and it could be the other plug.

Thanks Steve . Had a buddy loan me a lead checker and the wire seems ok , although I’m not sure about the test equipment . With the tester set up when you fire the plug it does spark between the electrodes but not in the window on the lead checker .
I have to call a mechanic at this point because of the lead needing to be crimped , I don’t have the tools

No I haven't. If you determine it is the lead I can send you the tools when I return from Oshkosh.

My lead checker is hooked to the battery and the lead, spark plugs should be out of the circuit. Push the button and you see the spark in the window.

So back to the tester . Leave the cap on the mag , remove lead at spark plug end attach clamp from red lead to spring at spark plug end . Black lead to any ground . Small red lead to
power source . Push button , no spark in window means bad lead , correct ?
