Determining cruise hp on 0-290D
Trying to determine the 75% HP curve rpm vs altitude. Lycoming manual has a convoluted chart that includes MP, RPM and an altitude, plus a note for correction for non standard temps. Is that the only source? I don't have a MP gauge. Is there anonther chart somewhere? Maybe I've missed it in the AFM or Owner's Manual?
Thanks
Scott

That’s about all there is. Without MAP, you can’t really determine HP unless you are full throttle limited by prop load.
For an O-290D, that would be about 2350 RPM for 75%.
