    Hi Subsonic,

I kind of tbought you would. You'll be the first to get it then. I'll send along some address labels for Steves place and some blanks in case you send it to another short wing guy. At my age I won't have a use for more than the one spare I made for myself.

    Thanks Jim,
The lens mold arrived today with complete instructions, labels, and a lens! Very thoroughly thought out kit. I'll be on travel for the next 9 or 10 days, but will make up several when I get back in town.

I made two new lenses successfully. I used Polycarbonate instead of Acrylic. Higher thermo-forming temperature required but little to no shrinkage, easy to drill, and it installed easily. Sightly more expensive than acrylic, but much stronger. I added my notes for oven temps and using a smaller oven to Jim's notes and instructions for using his mold. I want to say Thanks! and give a shout out to Jim for making this mold available to us. I'll be packaging it up and sending his "kit" out later this week to Steve Pierce, unless someone speaks up quickly to receive it sooner. Otherwise, you should know it worked great for me. I installed one, and have a spare too. I flew it yesterday to "test out the aerodynamics". Er, at least that was the story to my wife who wondered where I was all afternoon. : ) All good.
