    Default head room

I am putting together a 53 tri pacer, the previous owner had the sets redone. ( new foam and covers.)

I put them in after finishing the head liner. yeah i wanted to climb in and make airplane noises.

Now i am 5"11 and i could not sit up at all. my head was trying to poke through the head liner by almost 6 inches.

I pulled the seat back out and i think the issue is was to much foam on the seat base. There is 9 inches of foam there.

how thick is the factory seat foam?

    Same for me.

This is one of my concerns should I have my seat redone. I'm 6' 4".

With the materials available today, you should be able to have a very thin seat cushion that is way more comfortable than the old stock seats.

Pretty much the main reason I’m going with the skylight on my PA-16. Stock seats in TriPacers put my head pressing against the headliner. I’m 6’

I love my skylight for many reasons! I find myself looking through it a lot when flying with others especially yanking and banking in the river bottoms. The sun beaming through it on a cold winter day is welcome thing too.
