Guess I need to start shopping again. Sigh. The combination of economy, lift, and performance of a Pacer is tough to beat. Smooth like butta 0-290d, (for which I've got an extra cylinder), 680 useful, warm day north GA 500+ FPM through 3000 DA, 90-95 knot cruise at 2450 RPM leaned to peak -50, 7.3 GPH, down and stopped in same conditions in 1000 feet with out a pucker.

The extra insurance is in my mind still cheaper than Champ or Cub

    Hi,

...."still cheaper than Champ or Cub"

Especially considering they have half as many seats.

The liability only quote for my L4 was $495. Property damage was 1M. Medical was 100K

I was new and naive to aircraft insurance. A friend and the previous owner went out to to T&G's. It appears something went wrong..... Avemco denied coverage because PIC didn't have 5 hours of dual, with an instructor. Thank God nobody was injured. I wouldn't even have liability coverage in this case. Read every word in your policy, twice, they hire people to find a reason not to pay out.
