I'm at the end of the journey, except that I couldn't test fly yet because I don't have a brake on the left pedal on the pilot side. My A&P was suppose to work on it yesterday. I flew the Pacer back from S&F and it worked fine. After sitting for three month the left master cylinder has no pressure.
Anyway, here are some pictures of the wing finished up. I hope I make it to OSH.
My A&P didn’t get to it. I borrowed his brake fluid pump and backfilled the container through the left brake caliper. I’ve got brakes now. The container was empty, but no signs of a leak. Strange.
The Pacer is flying a little left wing heavy. I need to shorten the rear strut on the left wing. Do I need to loosen up all the bolts (wing root, top and bottom strut) to lift the wing up so the bottom of the struts can slide off the attachment?
Loosen the nut on the strut fork, pull the bolt at the wing and rear lift strut, drop it down and rotate in one turn, fly and see what that did. Another thing you can do is put a digital level on each out board aileron bay ribs. If they match it should be close to wings level.
