I'm having this same issue now. I looked at some video I did a couple weeks ago and you can see the fuel leaking out of my right tank. I replaced the gasket and it hasn't helped. When you all say "bend the tabs," can you explain which tabs you're referring to? I'm assuming you mean the two large ones to make the cap tighter?

Correct, lately I have found them too tight but can easily be too loose I guess.
