    They are saying the jet engine came apart and took out the rear tire and caused loss of control, video at link below of the engine catching fire and the tire coming apart and truck spinning out of control.

    Everything looks normal at 1:31
    1:32 the fire starts and a tire comes apart and he starts losing control right before he goes behind that napalm show or whatever they are doing there

    If you watch that video starting at 1:47 you see the drag chute deploying, thats when the fire starts, I wonder if the chute cord caught on a gas line or something else and tore a gas line open, at 350mph that chute and line or cord would have a lot of force behind it as it opens.

    As he deployed the chute thats also probably when he closed the throttle.. guess it could also have been a throttle or mechanical problem with the gas control unit or anything in between.
