A video done by Brady Lane of EAA back in 2009. He captured my parents and their Clipper perfectly. Had been a long time since I watched this and thought I would share it.

nice vid! One of the reasons I booted the first wife, she hated flying, and I wasn't gonna give it up.
Thanks Steve. Strange thing is I was looking just last week for a good story on that plane, its always popping up in conversation. Gilbert kinda looks like an old bricklayer I knew and I always imagined him as a loud over spoken beer drinker but no... you have a couple of great folks there mister.
Yes, thanks for sharing that, Steve!
Don't know yet about my wife & flying (in MY plane), but we've been up in others' planes a number of times... so far, so good -- no serious complaints. At least she has supported me in this rather extended endeavor with 57A.
Nice video. I’m one of the lucky ones. My wife likes to fly. She even volunteered to be my pumpkin bombardier with the rear door removed.

Brady Lane was a great down-to-earth reporter, great stuff. Didn't know about all those nutplates what a great mod... Cheers

We use to see Brady at SnF and OSH every year. I really miss his presence in Sport Aviation.
That video was an add-on to an Article Sparky Barns did at SnF in 2009 and was in the November 2009 Sport Aviation.
Steve has those aluminum grommets in his web store.
