    Default Trim Indicator Spring

Can anyone give me the dimensions and spring tension of the trim indicator spring? I found a thread somewhere that indicated that it be 17lbs./inch. This is an experimental, so an aftermarket spring would be fine. Thank you.

My spring is from the hardware store and needed to be strong enough to keep tension on the long piano wire. And, long enough for the indicator to travel in the gauge.

Looking at the travel of the jack screw I need about 3" of travel on the spring. It only takes about 5Lbs. with the fish scale to get the cable tight with jack screw and tail yoke all the way up. Ad three inches of travel and it looks like 5Lbs. and inch should do it.
