Bonkers.... I can't even fathom spending 7 years to build anything I can't physically operate or live in.... Then he donates them?
This guy is legendary..... or completely mental.

He builds everything that is inside, out of view, using of wood. He then uses lithoplate, thin aluminum used in a printing process, to cover the wood. Some of the RC aircraft builders use soda, or beer cans, for the same look.
If you haven't seen what the RC flyers are using up there with us, they are worth a look.
