Hi there everyone,
I am looking for plans or detail photo's of the attachment points and dimensions of a boarding step for the Pacer on the right hand side of the airplane.
I believe there are different versions of how they were attached over the years.
I have a 1951 Tri Pacer to -20 conversion project in process.
Thanks.
The two drawings are for fuselage fittings. Dwg. 12509 is for Serial numbers 20-1 up to 20-933. Dwg. 13938 is for Serial number 20-934 and up. while both drawings are similar in design and dimension, 12509 has better detail of the upper attach point.
Tried to find a drawing of the step, no luck. I can make a drawing with dimensions from mine if needed, pics too. Its all streamline tubing.
At the end of the SWPC prints are the LPC drawings. Have you checked those for drawings on how to attach the step?

Hi There Todd,
Thanks for responding to my request, i am new to the group, I assume I would have to join the SWPC in order to access the drawings you mentioned.
Someone had posted a drawing of the step attachment but it was poor quality so did not help too much. It would be super if you could sketch it out with a few pics, i would be most grateful.
Thanks for the Pics and dimensions for the B/step, helps tremendously getting a picture of how its constructed and where things go. I should be able to fabricate one from the info you provided. Thanks.
Some of the guys say the CD has plans for the step, are they drawings of the step or actual plans that one can then build the step from?
