Was your Shortwing in the movies?
The Internet Movie Plane DataBase lists a whole lot of aircraft that were featured, however briefly, in movies and TV shows.
Here's the listing of films known to have featured a Tri-Pacer.

Conspicuous by it absence is the first episode of "Supercar" from the early 1960s.
Probably because it was puppets in a model Tri-Pacer.

None of ours were in any “movies”. But our super Cub got a very short (and I mean blink and you miss it short) flash in a Chase bank commercial.

Right as the girl pulls the prop on the trike. Our Cub is one of the blurry planes in the background. The shots in the hanger with the Taylorcraft are my hanger. Was a wild day.
