    hello I know of at lest two legal ICS install via field approval by radio shop.I installed a Garmin 430 and more in my pacer the radio shop that helped me and filled out the 337 forms had to do a trasponder and radio's ck to make it legal.I have not flown with a ICS radio but my friend's who have them in tri-pacers like them.The ICS radio was jest not what I wanted in my airplane.GOOD LUCK it looks like the people here can get you the right info.
