PA-14/PA-18 Wings on a Pacer

Does anyone know if PA-14 or 18 wings have been put on a pacer or similar variant before.
I know it has been done for the stretched pacers but am curious if there is information out for an FAA blessed modification.
The reason I am asking is that I have seen a lot of info regarding modifying the wing attach fittings for the experimentals (of which I am building a version) but I have not seen any information regarding the lift struts, etc. Any help or insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, the PA-14 wings and PA-18 tail surfaces can be legally installed if it is done in accordance with my STC for the "Producer" - Bryant

Just out of curiosity, for the producer stc do you have to use pa-14 wings and pa-18 tail feathers for could you use Pa-14 wings and tail feathers. Or pa-18 wings and tail.

The PA-18 wings have less control (smaller flaps,and less aileron travel )and the PA-18 tail surfaces are larger than the PA-14. So, for the STC'd version I stay with the PA-14 wings and the PA-18 tail. - Bryant

Specifically, how does the pa-14 wing differ from the pa-18 wing. Is the wing the same length? How much bigger is the flap? Aileron more travel?

Stephen - The PA-14 wings are constructed differently than the PA-18 wings such as leading edges, nose ribs, compression members, false spar, and they have a higher gross weight rating. Physically they are about the same size, with the flaps a few inches longer, and the hinge locations in different rib bays. Then there is the control travel, as noted in Andy's post. - Bryant

I've been exploring possibly mods for the Pacer wings. I find it interesting, the changes that Piper made to their different models.

I assumed that a PA 14 wing would be basically the same as the PA 18.

It's also interesting to compare this to the Pacer wing, since our shorter planes would be quicker response these difference make sense.

Stablizer 1 degree Up 6.5 down
Elevator 24 Up 12 down
Aileron 15 Up 15 down
Rudder 16 right 16 left
Flap 40 down

A little more up elevator might be nice, or maybe more aileron too. Heck, I'll take some more rudder while we're comparing.
