Re: Oil Filter Adapter
Aeroquip 303 hose is guaranteed for 8 years but recommended to be replaced every 5 years. Wouldn't it be wiser to adapt fittings to the ends of the original steel lines, AN nuts and ferrules? Just a Minor Alteration.

Re: Oil Filter Adapter
I don't dip the ends. If I have a fire and it burns through the ends of the fire sleeve I am already in deep doodoo.

Re: Oil Filter Adapter
As an alternative you can get your links and have Teflon hoses made, lifetime. I have had Stratoflex/Aeroquip last 20 plus years. I always check the flexibility at annual.

Re: Oil Filter Adapter
You can use the hi temp red RTV from the auto stores to seal the end of your firesleeve. The dip has gotten really expensive and the tube of Red RTV accomplishes the same thing.

Re: Oil Filter & Seatbelts
Did you use a spacer, and if so, where did you get it from?

Re: Oil Filter Adapter
I didn’t need a spacer . There is a guy named Bill at Casper labs you will be dealing with . He will ask for a few pics of your engine and tell you if you need spacers If you do they have them
