2 1280hds?
Anyone ever tried this? Saw a friends airplane with two one, and it looks like 10# in a 5% bag. And from my very limited bungee knowledge, it seems like it would be insanely stiff. It’s a 150hp 22/20. Typical weight, not a pig but not ultralight either. Sitting on big tires and used offairport but not often loaded heavy or used on super rough strips

I would think running 2 1280HS on each side would be like the PA-15 stiff leg gear!

Light and with Bushwheels I would try two 1080 HDs and then if you feel you need more to hold up the plane cut one off and add a 1280.

I have 2 1080 HD's on mine and it's molar jarring Stiff......narrow gear PA20
I'm sure the wider gear would be better with this setup.

Re: 2 1280hds?
So the consensus is absolutely no reason anyone would use two 1280hds? They don’t seem to fit very well either.
secondly, how bad is it to have a twist in the bungees. They aren’t install straight and clean like I expected.
i really need a bungee tool. *♂️

I put a 1080hd and a 1280hd on 5 years ago when I got my pacer anticipating a steep tail wheel learning curve. It was quite stiff, but survived some awful landings and only now needs replacing. I will go with 2 1080hds. Can’t imagine getting 2 1280hds over the hydrosorbs without cutting them.
