    In the other thread on pacer wings on a colt, Gilbert mentioned an improvement from clipper ailerons on a pacer. What are the differences between clipper ailerons and pacer ailerons? Are clipper ailerons the same size as cubs? I am wondering if I can incorporate longer ailerons in my project. Thanks

    Yes, J3, PA15, PA16 and PA18 all have the same aileron. They are a lot longer than a Pacer and great for slipping.

    Just imagine that your trailing edge is 24 inches long. Ailerons look really long and trailing edge is really short.
