Re: Ney Nozzles
Don’t quote me on this since I obviously don’t know much about this stuff yet as apparent by my last post, but my understanding is the ney nozzles (made by chuck ney???) are cam pre oilers, little nozzles drilled into the case that spray the cam. Someone here that knows more can hopefully give a better answer.

Re: Ney Nozzles
they are not really pre-oilers in the sense that you can pump oil to them before you start.
The nozzles are aligned in side the case to spray the cam lobes and the oil source is
from the oil gallery that provide oil to the rest of the engine bearings, bushings, hyd lifters etc

Re: Ney Nozzles
I can usually catch the original thumb screw type clamps with a 1/4” drive 6-point socket. Can’t remember if it is the 7/16 or 1/2 inch. A shop I used to work for slotted an old 3/8 socket to use on them.

Re: Ney Nozzles
Thanks, Steve,
Finally got in and read all the other posts.
very interesting.
I was curious because I just picked up another project and it came with 2 of the 0-320’s, 1 of which has logs and cylinders removed for inspection.
I sure don’t need both, so I’ll be going through this engine and be paying attention to everything brought up before I sell it.
Again, thanks Steve and all who contributed to both threads.
Cheers,
Kurt
