    Default Johnson Creek fly in

Any of you fellow Short-wingers going to be at the Johnson Creek fly-in next month? My Pacer isn't quite complete, but I'm flying there right seat in a friend's Glastar Sportsman. I'm looking forward to winning the 31" bushwheels they are going to raffle off. Hope to see some of you there.

I hope to make it. Had a great time last year but I have played way to much lately and need to get both Cathy's Tri-Pacer and my Pacer finished along with several customer projects. Time and money. It is a great time for sure.

I am thinking about going to Johnson Creek.

I will never forget my thoughts on seeing one after another Piper taildragger, PA- every model you can think of land and T/O on the most beautiful grass runway I have ever seen.

    Taildragger heaven?

(Wish I could post a photo).

I went early last year, since that is when I had the time off. Lots of people flew in early, there is great camping. You can borrow a car to go to Yellow Pine. The restaurant Owner told me I did not need to tie up my dog, and she would run free with a couple other dogs while we ate. They have fly outs to great places for breakfast etc. Camping and Main street photos: I had the "quick draw" tent before I got the Pacer, and I heard lots of Matching tent/ Plane comments!
